Wilde Network Awarded Funding For Anthology!
Wilde Network has been awarded funding for the publication of their second anthology, which is to be titled Motherlogue.

Wilde Network, who run the weekly writing workshops for women (JustWrite) and who also host the international writers retreat and creative writing prize in Jamaica, WildeJam, were one of the organisations chosen by Grass Roots Funders.

CCEO and Creative Director of Wilde Network, Rasheda Malcolm, herself an accomplished writer and author said, ‘we are thrilled that Grass Roots have seen our potential and awarded us the funding to publish the anthology. It will be a collection of poems, prose and short stories, all about the experience of parenting or being parented by your mother.

The publication is scheduled for completion in May 2010 and will be launched shortly after.

Please contact us for further information or to contribute to the publication.

Wilde Centre, JA
Wilde Network is currently running a campaign to provide a creative platform for rural women in Jamaica where they can develop skills which could help them develop economic independence. We aim to raise £20,000 to establish a creative centre, where women and girls can benefit artistically, in the written and spoken arts. We also aim to establish a library of new and used books. If you are interested in making a donation, please make a cheque payable to Wilde Network and post to The Masbro Centre, 87 Masbro Road, London W14 0RL.
